Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Attorney (Estate Planning) to join the team at an award-winning law firm serving clients in Central, Western and Northern Michigan.

The firm is one of the most well-respected in Michigan, and they take pride in their commitment to provide the the best legal representation to every client, all while making a positive impact in the community!

The role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 6:00 PM.

This is a tremendous opportunity for either an experienced attorney who is looking to join an established practice OR for a junior attorney who wants to build an estate planning career. The leadership at the firm is open to mentoring an aspiring attorney in this practice area!

DUTIES:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients in estate planning, taxation, Medicaid eligibility and probate laws
• Counsel clients on their estate planning needs, and complete the necessary estate planning documents
• Work independently while supervising paralegals to help with our clients' needs.
• Develop comprehensive estate plans that encompass wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal instruments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Active Michigan Bar
• 1-3 Years practicing Estate/Probate/Taxation law
• Understanding Medicaid implications is a strong plus.
• Litigation and Trial experience is a plus but not required
