Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in Syracuse, New York. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal representation to our clients. Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial.
- Attend court hearings.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and management.
- Stay current on changes in the law and legal precedents.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in the State of New York.
- 2 to 5 years of experience.
- Previous Civil Defense Litigation experience preferred.
- Superior analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong worth ethic and commitment to client service.
