Our client, a medical malpractice defense firm in NYC, is seeking an appellate associate with 2-5 years of experience. The candidate must have excellent research and writing skills and be familiar with appellate rules and courts. The appellate attorney candidate will work on complex motions, summary judgments, and appeals.
Role: Appellate Attorney
Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days at home
Billables: 1800.
Salary: $100K - $145K + bonus structure.
Open to Assistant District Attorneys.
About the role:
Our client is seeking an appellate attorney. In addition to drafting and arguing appeals, the position involves motion practice through all stages of litigation, and in particular in defense of mass tort litigation. Candidate will be working on complex motions, summary judgments, and appeals. The candidate will provide advice and guidance on complex legal issues to colleagues and clients.
