Candidates must have superior analytical and communication skills. We are looking for the right candidates to join our team.*Seeking attorneys with ANY of the following experience:** Defense attorney admitted in New York or certified for admission.* Admitted defense attorney with 1-3 years experience. Employment law experience preferred but not required.* Admitted attorney with 5+ years employment practices liability defense experience and demonstrated interest in the field of employment law. (Hybrid opportunity)* Admitted defense attorney with 1-3 years experience. Litigation experience preferred but not required, but willingness to conduct depositions, motion practice, drafting and attendance of Court appearance in wide ranging venues throughout New York State. Accounting, Business, or Taxation experience a plus, but not required.* Admitted defense attorney with 1-5 years insurance defense litigation experience.* Admitted defense attorney with 1-5 years experience handling professional liability claims.* Admitted defense attorney with 1-5 years experience representing architects and engineers and handling complex construction claims.* Admitted defense attorney with 1-5 years litigation experience or experience defending construction accident/New York Labor Law claims preferred.* Admitted attorney with 4-6 years general liability experience, preferably including defending construction accident/New York Labor Law claims, and/or coverage litigation experience.*Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:** Managing own caseload with oversight by partners* Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses* Research and writing of memorandums* Attending hearings and court conferences* Conducting and defending depositions* Attending inspections* Consulting with expert witnesses* Attending mediations* Trial preparation and trialJob Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* professional liability defense: 1 year (Preferred)* general liability litigation defense: 1 year (Preferred)* architect & engineer defense: 1 year (Preferred)* employment & labor law: 1 year (Preferred)* insurance defense litigation: 1 year (Preferred)* construction accident defense: 1 year (Preferred)* coverage litigation: 1 year (Preferred)* employment practice liabilitydefense: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: In person
