Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the trusts and estates industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting expertise and the ability to manage a diverse caseload, providing exceptional legal support to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Drafting Expertise: Prepare and review a variety of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Client Consultation: Conduct client meetings to understand their needs, provide tailored legal advice, and conduct signing/execution meetings. Estate Administration: Assist in the administration of estates, including probate proceedings, trust administration, and estate tax returns. Research and Analysis: Perform legal research and stay updated on the latest developments in trusts and estates law. Document Management: Ensure accurate and organized maintenance of all legal documents and files. Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, senior attorneys, and partners to ensure comprehensive client service. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and regulations. Qualifications: Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Bar Admission: Admitted to practice law in any U.S. state. Preference for a member in good standing of the New York State Bar. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates law. Entry level experience in Tax and Corporate law is also ideal but not required. Skills: Proficient in drafting estate planning documents. Excellent analytical and research skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines. Proficiency in legal research tools and drafting software. Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Compensation Range Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00
