A boutique construction law firm in Greenville, SC is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team.   • 3-5+ years of commercial litigation or complex commercial construction experience
  • Barred in South Carolina
  • Possesses high level of legal writing competency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Federal litigation experience is highly preferred
  • Formal construction experience is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Able to take initiative and naturally self-motivated
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Experience with Netdocs or electronic discovery is a plus
  • Ability to work onsite 100% at their office in Greenville, SC
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
  • Manage 3-5 large cases and various smaller cases simultaneously
  • Handle litigation tasks, including depositions and conducting legal research/writing
  • Draft discovery documents and write briefings
  • Attend hearings and trials
  • Handle electronic discovery and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with paralegal support
  • Able to meet or exceed billable hour goals
