Our client is a highly regarded boutique Real Estate law firm in Midtown Manhattan, seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in real estate litigation, with an emphasis on Commercial Real Estate. Known for its expertise in transactional and litigation matters, They provide personalized, strategic legal counsel to clients, including developers, property owners, and investors throughout New York City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of real estate litigation matters, primarily focused on commercial real estate disputes
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and oversee discovery
  • Represent clients in New York state and federal courts, handling court appearances and depositions
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy and risk assessment
  • Advise clients on complex real estate issues, focusing on dispute resolution and proactive solutions

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and Admission to practice law in NY
  • 4-6 years of Real Estate litigation experience, preferably with a concentration in commercial real estate disputes
  • Strong experience in handling discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
