Responsibilities Include:
- Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.
- Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and various legal and contractual documents in a timely manner and provide detailed reports to partners and/or clients
- Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
- Ensuring that data obtained during interactions with clients remain confidential and are stored securely.
- Advise clients with legal recommendations and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor and NYS Bar Admittance are required.
- 3+ years of litigation experience is required.
- Prior commercial litigation experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
