Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Trust & Estates Attorney to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide expert legal counsel on trust and estate planning, ensuring all client assets are managed and distributed.
- Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Manage and resolve estate administration matters.
- Utilize legal case management software to organize and maintain accurate case records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor degree is required
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
- 3+ years of experience with Trust & Estates law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proficient in legal case management software, preferably Clio and/or NetDocuments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Wealth Docs is preferred.
