Broderick Attorney at Law, one of the fastest growing Law Firms in the Tri-state area. Our team of professionals is well-versed in various areas, including Work's Compensation, employment disputes, PIP arbitrations and personal injury claims. We are seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience, including at least three years focused on personal injury law, to join our growing New York practice and represent individuals in personal injury related claims. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a caseload of personal injury cases from initiation through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies to negotiate settlements and facilitate the litigation process.
  • Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to devise case strategies for optimal outcomes.
  • Stay updated on changes in personal injury laws and legal trends to provide knowledgeable counsel to clients.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in New York State, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience handling plaintiffs' personal injury matters, with a focus on New York law.
  • Proficient litigation skills, including experience with drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and courtroom appearances.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a growing team
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
