Associate Attorney - Professional Liability

Leading law firm with a national practice is seeking a Professional Liability Associate Attorney for their New York City office to assist in defending claims of legal mal-practice and lawsuits against professionals.

Qualifications:

• Admitted to practice in the State of New York
• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation
• Deposition and trial preparation experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Make court appearances and depositions
• Manage or support caseload from inception through dispositive motion, mediation, negotiated resolution, or trial
• Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Base salary range 125k-170k (Negotiable DOE), Bonuses & Benefits including:
