In the role of Associate, Back Office, the employee will be responsible for the following:Proficient in daily reconciliation of position, cash, dividends, swaps, settlements, repos, OTC, etc.Understanding of dividends, corporate actions, market value, financing, cash processing, etc., and how they all impact P&L.Interact with counterparties and oversee payments and wires.Review, reconcile and oversee monthly and daily interest accruals. High attention to month-end NAV timelines and P&L impact.Assist with third-party communications and inquiries, as well as reconcile month-end issues for NAV deliverables and timeliness as well as resolution of such issuesResponsibilities include position checks, cash flow on Fixed Income activities, and daily reconciliation of cash movements and balances.Liaise with other departments, such as Fund Accounting and Middle Office groups.Collaborate with senior management on reporting and analysis as needed, and help develop and refine processes.Cash Management analysis, outside of day-to-day recon, also be able to transfer, analyze financing impacts, prime broker charges, off-boarding process, and items of the like such as the ability to perform journals and/or movements.Work with teams located both domestically and internationally.Must be proven to be able participate and work in a team-oriented environmentExperience with Tax as it relates to dividends and corporate actionsWork on special projects in addition to daily requirements.Ability to improve processes for efficiencies and scale as well as be self-manageable with their daily tasks and prioritizeUnique role that has opportunities in wide array of projects that will contribute to cash/collateral mgmt, optimizing capital and balance sheet, and learning the operational aspects of both macro financing and equity financing.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:In order to effectively represent the Company and communicate with clients, the employee must be someone who has: Excellent Excel skills are a requirement; pivots and graphs. As well as proficient reporting capabilitiesExperience with both financing and margin, calculations and methodology.Solid troubleshooting and resolution abilitiesStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracySelf-manageable with strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong product knowledge of fixed income, macro products, listed products EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:Degree in Financing, Business, Accounting, or Economics preferredMinimum of 1-3 years' work experience; preferably in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting
