Associate, Banker – Financing Group with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Analyze capital structures and advise debt issuers on various considerations including leverage, liquidity, maturity management, indenture covenants, and reporting requirements. Prepare detailed analysis to be presented to CFOs, Treasurers and Finance staff on financing optimization strategies related to asset-based funding including warehouse funding, term loans, asset sales and purchases and securitizations. Requires: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with the following: communicating finance concepts including securitization capital` structures, economic and legal lending terms and risks, and representations and warranties to senior management; conducting credit risk research and analysis; analyzing debt instruments, conducting research on secured debt capital markets and participating in the debt ratings process; using business software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, as well as financial databases and third-party research sources including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Moody's, S&P Ratings and Intex to prepare presentations on complex financial matters; analyzing and interpreting credit documents, including term sheets and credit agreements for financing transactions for asset-based transactions including lending facilities, term loans, securitizations and asset purchases; working with data analysis tools and methodologies, including cash flow modeling and debt structures; and conducting analysis on a broad range of assets and industries including, auto loans and leases, consumer loans, credit card receivables, real estate leases, student loans issued by banks, financial technology companies and specialty finance companies.
