Summary of Position

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Brand Manager for NEXON America's marketing team. This individual will support the Brand Marketing team with crafting, executing, and optimizing marketing programs and promotions using multiple channels. The Associate Brand Manager will mainly support Blue Archive as well as other game titles. This individual must be an avid anime fan with a deep understanding of the various subcultures and latest trends in the anime scene.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, define, and leadbrand campaigns aligned with business objectives with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate across teams to build best-in-class Marketing Strategies with a focus on broadening our global reach, particularly in the North American region
  • Manage production and approval of communication materials
  • Facilitate communication with external vendors/agencies
  • Handle incidental duties and special projects as assigned

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of product marketing or product management experience with digital ad products, OR 3+ years of experience in the digital advertising industry with a deep understanding of gaming
  • Experience partnering with global teams and/or product development teams to represent market requirements
  • Experience taking products through their full lifecycle and developing go-to-market strategies
  • Experience working with Japanese Anime/Manga and culture preferred

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • BA/BS degree or above

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong and deep knowledge of Japanese Anime/Manga and it's culture
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills. Ability to build strong compelling narratives and ability to simplify marketing messaging to resonate with different audiences
  • Effective project management in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and adaptability to new technologies
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Solution-focused with robust problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of marketing principles and production processes
  • Eagerness to learn about procedures and products
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational levels

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $31.00 - $38.00 hourly.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual's pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
