ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER- COFFEE

Camerons Coffee is hiring an Associate Brand Manager- Coffee to lead key aspects of the companys brand- and business-building efforts across multiple brands in the coffee category

CAMERONS COFFEE

Camerons Coffee is a specialty roastery based out of Shakopee, Minnesota with ~$100MM in annual revenue. The company is wholly-owned subsidiary of Grupo Nutresa, a Colombia-based multinational branded food manufacturer, and employs ~125 people. Camerons is a top Midwest brand with a robust and loved portfolio of flavors, blends and roasts. Our specialty grade Arabica coffee is sourced from all over the world, and same-day roasted and packaged in our best-in-class roasting facility. Camerons Coffee manufactures the Camerons brand, as well as Private Label for a small number of select retailers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Brand Manager- Coffee will be responsible for:

Marketing Plan Development and Execution:

  • Work with Marketing Director Brands and other stakeholders to develop brand strategies and plans designed to achieve company and brand growth objectives across multiple company brands
  • Work with agency partners to develop consumer communication plans including advertising, promotions, social media marketing, events, etc.
  • Develop and execute plans to drive consumer trial and engagement, including consumer sampling events and programs
  • Partner with Marketing Director- Brands to lead annual brand planning process and manage brand budgets
  • Lead tracking and reporting of progress against key metrics

Innovation Pipeline Planning & Execution:

  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership
  • Serve as project manager for innovations produced outside of Camerons main Shakopee facility (other Grupo Nutresa locations or co-packers), leading cross-functional internal and external project teams to launch items
  • Partner with Colombia-based Research & Development team to successfully brief, plan and launch new items
  • Efficiently and effectively manage day-to-day problems and communicate effectively in difficult and time sensitive situations. Understand when (and why) to escalate issues. Facilitate meetings, and ensure the team receives clear direction for next steps
  • Partner with internal marketing and sales teams to develop sell-in and launch materials

Experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field required
  • At least 2 years consumer marketing experience, preferably in branded consumer products
  • Experience in marketing plan development and execution, digital marketing, consumer promotions, project management and business analytics
  • Experience in project management in a fast-paced creative environment managing multiple projects simultaneously

Skills Needed

  • Candidate must have superior interpersonal skills and be able to partner with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and levels
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects working with a diverse team of creative employees and external partners
  • Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to develop and manage timelines, juggle multiple projects, multitask, collaborate, and deliver against deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
  • Strong analytical skills, able to translate data and market information into conclusions and actionable insights
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Some knowledge with Hispanic marketing a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • SALARY: $75,000-85,000
