Job Description
Infosys is seeking Manufacturing Domain Associate Business Analyst with Automotive Supply Chain specialization.
As an Analyst, you will be expected to leverage your domain expertise and facilitate solution deployment by playing a role of Business analyst in assigned projects. Additionally, you are required to provide inputs on current technology and business trends via industry research while designing solutions.
As a consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global automotive landscape.
Required Qualifications -
* Graduate/Post Graduate - Engineering, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Industrial, Communication, Electronics, Comp. Science etc.
* 1+ years of experience in IT is required
* Any relevant certification will be an added advantage - Six Sigma, APICS, SCOR, PMP etc.
* Implementation / Working Knowledge of SCM packages such as SAP Ariba, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Oracle etc preferred
* Location for this position is Plano, TX. Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area

Preferred Qualifications -
* Relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or management consultant or an industry practitioner in Automotive sector, preferably with hands-on experience in supply chain and order management
* Demonstrates strong basic knowledge across few segments of Auto Industry value chain and related best practices. Has exposure to one or more Functional areas like Sourcing, Procurement, Forecasting and Planning, Production, Logistics and Transportation, Warehouse Management etc.
* Experienced in operating in Agile projects
* Experience in driving meetings/workshops with business leads & cross functional stakeholders and articulate project documents lucidly.
* Conversant with more visual, more design-thinking based, and more agile lightweight approaches such as customer personas, customer journeys, service blueprints, story maps, etc.
* Ability to build and evaluate business cases for operational improvements and understand how technology can be leveraged to accelerate operational improvements.
* Understands the larger, end to end business process that solutions fit into.
* Willing to challenge requirements based on an understanding of prioritized objectives.
* Provide research assistance and clarity of business demand specifications. Bridge gap between business and IT ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment. Coordinate the business subject matter experts' involvement in all aspects of the project.
* Design Business Use cases, Lead Functional Architecture, Re-engineer process models and Integrate disparate services for end-to-end solution delivery
* Ability to understand and use advanced analysis methods in slightly complex client scenarios to ensure problem areas are identified and impact on the business is understood
* Guide technical team members to realise customer's vision as articulated in the project deliverables across Planning & Scheduling, Vehicle Logistics, Supplier Visibility, and Dynamic Order Management among others
* Drive business workshops to define requirements, develop product backlog and elaborate functional specifications for an IT solution, using workshop tools like Confluence, Jira, Visio.
* Document as-is & to-be business processes, assessing the business models, systems, and integration with technology
* Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to analyse requirements & prepare Product Backlog items
* Prepare user stories, prepare acceptance criteria for user stories, and manage product backlog, with prioritization
* For stakeholders and customers, act as a bridge between the business problems and the technology solutions from definition till supporting business during testing
* Leverage industry frameworks like APQC, SCOR etc. for potential supply chain transformation programs
* Working experience in Agile methodologies & tools (e.g., JIRA), Understanding and exposure to Software dev. lifecycle
* Excellent soft skills - written and verbal communication
* Work in onshore and offshore model
