We represent a fast-growing health care technology company looking to hire an attorney with 7+ years generalist experience that includes HIPAA, Privacy, maintaining compliance with state and federal law, negotiating vendor and other agreements, managing employment and other litigation, and managing the needs of a dynamic technology company.
Responsibilities
Provide legal support and guidance across various business operations and functions to manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Lead engagement across internal business departments to identify and resolve legal issues, and support business verticals
Draft and update company policies and procedures
Assist with M&A activities
Partner with Head of Government affairs in proactive and reactive legislative activity
Partner with finance and banking to maintain internal financial controls, and support annual audit activities
Day-to-day management of intellectual property portfolio
Qualifications and Skills
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
License to practice in any state.
Minimum seven years experience, health care and in-house experience preferred.
Self-starter and independent working style.
