Position Summary: At FCB Chicago, the Associate Creative Director, or ACD, provides overall administrative and strategic direction to his or her group. The ACD functions as the chief daily creative contact with the account service and client representatives on the accounts under their supervision. The ACD supervises and directs the activities of members of their groups in order to maintain FCB Chicago's standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability, while always working to achieve the client's goals. The ACD reports to the Creative Director and/or VP Creative Director. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative strategy
- Critique and direct revision of creative work
- Prepare creative work for internal and client review
- Approve of creative work before implementation of overall creative strategy
- Prepare and facilitate creative presentations to both internal stakeholders and clients
- Assist the Creative Director in the supervision of the creative team
- Interview prospective talent, offer feedback and approve of new hires brought onto the team
- Provide detailed information and cost estimates to assure accurate data on which to plan and develop functional objectives and budgets, leading to stable and profitable accounts
- Participate in new business efforts as directed
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- Extensive experience in marketing communications, advertising, and sales promotion
- Extensive experience in the creation and production of superior marketing communication materials
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience required
- FCB has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday
