Develops the schedule of classes for the campus in coordination with the Campus Provost, Academic Deans, Department Chairs, Program Directors, Institutional Research, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Academic Affairs, and local school districts. Coordinates scheduling of instructors to teach course offerings on the campus in collaboration with the Campus Provost and appropriate Dean. Coordinates assignment of classrooms and lab spaces. Acts as campus administrator in the absence of the Campus Provost. Recruits and interviews adjunct instructors, including dual enrollment instructors assigned to the campus, gathers appropriate documentation and credential information, submits qualifying forms to appropriate Dean, and makes hiring recommendations. Gathers appropriate documentation and credential information from potential adjunct instructors on the high school campus assigned to the PHSC campus and submits qualifying forms to appropriate Dean. Coordinates orientation of adjunct faculty and adjunct in-service meetings. Monitors student evaluations, classroom performance, attendance verification, grade entry, and appropriate instructional standards for full-time and adjunct instructors. Assists in resolving faculty and student problems related to instruction and handles academic grievances in accordance with College policies and procedures. Supervises and prepares the performance evaluations of adjunct instructors on the campus and off campus instructional sites assigned to the campus. At the direction of the Campus Provost, serves on screening committee for full-time faculty positions. Supervises and prepares the performance evaluations for the Office Assistant/Faculty Support position(s) on the campus. In conjunction with the Campus Provost, and, if applicable, the academic Dean, monitors the budget for adjunct faculty pay relevant to directed study, independent study, and full pay for low enrollment sections. Assists the Campus Provost and/or academic Deans in the development of new programs and course offerings on campus and at off-campus instructional sites assigned to the campus. Assists in the implementation of the College's Equity Plan in accordance with its provisions. Participates on committees as assigned. Provides administrative support for the Dual Enrollment program for high schools assigned to the campus. Plans and coordinates select campus events and activities. Participates in College recruitment and retention efforts. In coordination with Campus Provost, participates in and represents campus at select community events. Performs other duties as assigned. - Master's Degree in college related academic discipline from a regionally accredited institution
- Background in instruction with a minimum of three (3) years of full or part-time successful teaching experience
