Job Description
Crum & Forster has an opening for an Associate Software Application Developer to work within its Property Division. You will be working on maintaining, updating, and extending our existing applications and tools. You will also play an important role in the development of future applications.
What YOU will do:
* You will play a critical role in our highly visible and important IT projects.
* Work with business units and executives in defining and delivering critical reports and dashboards.
* Work with a team that values the importance of data and analytics in helping the company make the right decisions.
* Be a key member in developing automated solutions.
* Participate in the full software development life cycle.
* Writing high-quality code for web and Excel based applications.
* Writing effective SQL stored procedures & functions.
* Utilizing Formstack platform to automate documents merge.
* Troubleshooting and problem solving.
* Testing and implementation of changes/updates with end users.

* Strong Excel formulas & Macros/VBA knowledge.
* Understanding of data structures & algorithms.
* Experience with .NET Core, Blazor, and Entity Framework.
* Knowledge of Tableau.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $41,700.00 to a maximum of $78,400.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
