JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Digital Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role within the Digital & Marketing department, managing key acquisition channels like Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, and Paid Social. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives on managing multiple programs simultaneously and delivering clear, actionable insights that drive growth across customer recruitment, brand awareness, web traffic, and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Paid Digital Marketing, a can-do, proactive attitude, and the ability to optimize media strategies that generate incremental traffic and revenue in a cost-effective manner. Success in this role will require a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and the agility to adapt to evolving market conditions. Additionally, the candidate should be eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges within the company, continuously expanding their skill set and contributing to team success. This position requires an in-depth understanding of how to execute and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple channels, with a focus on both short-term performance and long-term brand growth. The Associate Manager will work closely with the Manager of Digital Marketing to set and achieve performance goals across digital media channels in both the US and Canada, ensuring optimal results and alignment with broader marketing objectives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Campaign Development and Management:

  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and distributing digital marketing campaigns in an organized manner. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Managing monthly digital media spend and optimizing based on business objectives.
    • Planning and scheduling paid campaign flight dates to align with the digital marketing calendar.
    • Supporting the management of day-to-day relationships with external agencies and vendors.
  • Maintain a data-driven mindset by consistently reviewing performance metrics and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Track and analyze ongoing digital trends to ensure our strategies are best-in-class within the retail and beauty sectors, as well as within our wider competitive set.
  • Evaluate channel performance, revenue, and ROAS, and present insights to key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Regularly pull and synthesize reports that contribute to growth, and proactively communicate with internal and external teams to address queries and inform decision-making.
  • Utilize a broad range of tools to create and present reporting in an easily understandable format for leadership.
  • Benchmark channel performance and initiatives against industry standards, specifically within the beauty sector, to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Collaborative Campaign Development
  • Partner with the Manager of Digital Marketing to manage the full-cycle creative process across all acquisition channels, including briefing, creative strategy, and trafficking.
  • Lead and oversee the ongoing creative brief process for digital acquisition channels, including but not limited to Facebook Ads, Display Banners, Paid Search Ad Copy, and Affiliate Paid Placement creative.
  • Align the creative brief schedule with the promotion calendar, working closely with the website and email teams to ensure customer-centric copy and a seamless path to conversion.
  • Asset Management & Timely Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of all required creative assets to external agencies and vendors to support campaign execution.
Reporting & Analysis:
  • Pull daily, weekly, and monthly reports to provide insights on performance, customer recruitment, and promotional analysis to the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Monitor and analyze promotional performance, cross-referencing data from Google Analytics, and agency platforms.
  • Proactively investigate and diagnose performance trends, both positive and negative, translating qualitative data into actionable recommendations.
  • Continuously implement and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Create and maintain ad-hoc reports as needed to support decision-making.
Agency & Publisher Management:
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and publishers to ensure proper prioritization of tasks and proactive management of timelines, deliverables, and communications.
  • Communicate growth opportunities, efficiencies, best practices, and optimizations to external partners.
  • Advise agencies on upcoming product launches and key campaigns, ensuring they have the necessary resources and direction for successful execution.
  • Oversee customer match files for advanced audience segmentation and create suppression lists to improve cost efficiency.
  • Challenge agencies to continuously optimize campaigns to meet or exceed KPIs.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by the Digital Marketing Manager.

REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
  • 4+ years' experience related to Digital Acquisition or Marketing Analyst Role, preferably in Beauty and/or Premium brand experience
SKILLS:
  • In-depth knowledge of paid digital marketing channels, including but not limited to Paid Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate Marketing.
  • Proficient in using key tools for digital marketing analysis and growth, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with a particular focus on customer segmentation and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and maintains a systematic approach across multiple channels, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly detail-focused to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • A strong desire to drive business growth, both online and in-store, by leveraging data and strategic marketing efforts.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, presentations, and data analysis.
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to work in normal office conditions
The compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 - $70,000 for the NYC region. Exact compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, experience, skills, and geographic location. In addition to annual salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program.
