We are looking for a passionate digital marketer who will be responsible for planning, launching, maintaining, updating and optimizing Organic and Paid Search in support of the global search efforts for the Genetics Science Division (GSD). This role is expected to support and lead varying Search initiatives and will be part of a highly matrix environment, collaborating with large, diverse teams across our company and the globe.The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on and enterprise-level expertise in Search and a firm understanding of other digital channels like Programmatic Display, Email or Social Media. Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, measure and optimize SEO and SEM initiatives that are aligned with business goals.Serve as the SME for Search across the division, working with cross-functional teams to grow and optimize search presence on the SERP.Track and report critical search metrics.Make SEM budget recommendations and ensure monthly budget pacing is on point.Lead multiple, simultaneous projects, prioritizing based on performance impact and team focus areas.Provide project status updates to your partners to set expectations on timelines, communicate accomplishments, open questions and risks.Contribute to strategic roadmap initiatives to modernize our Search capabilities including continuous process improvements and test-and-learn pilots.Test, evaluate and implement new strategies and technologies, as well as influence the wider corporate marketing organization to adopt and deploy emerging digital marketing tactics and technologies.Leverage AI and automation capabilities to drive efficiencies within the Search program.Align with regional digital partners to understand regional needs and bring the global strategy to life.Respond quickly to shifts in the industry, in the regions or on a global level.Lead knowledge sharing sessions on the Search channel (e.g. standard methodologies, strategy, industry updates, etc.).Participate in scrum ceremonies and follow agile principles as part of an agile team, using project management software.How will you get here? Education Bachelor's degree required.Required Experience: 3+ years experience in B2C or B2B digital marketing, advertising or eCommerce.Advanced understanding of SEM using Google Ads, Bing Ads or other paid search engines.Deep knowledge of on-page SEO and search engine ranking factors.Knowledge of technical SEO/SEM.Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console or Screaming Frog.Proven track record of creating, optimizing and reinventing campaigns and content to constantly improve results.Strong Excel skills, ability to manage and update campaigns via bulk upload process.Hands-on experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio).Experience prioritizing multiple strategic clients including ownership and oversight of large budgets.Preferred experience: Experience with bid management platforms (e.g. Search Ads 360, Adobe Media Optimizer, Kenshoo, Marin or similar).Experience with keyword research tools (e.g. Moz, SEMRush).Experience with DMP management, including 1st party, 2nd party and 3rd party data.Experience with backlog management tools (e.g. WorkFront, Jira, Wrike).Experience in working with Web Production, Digital Marketing Managers, and Web Content teams to implement on-page optimizations.An understanding of the relationship between SEM and SEO, how they differ and can be used to improve overall search presence.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Excellent communicator.Ability to present to a variety of business partners and leadership.Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to analyze large data sets from multiple sources.Use data and dashboards and communicate keen insights on improving critical metrics.Strong time management, planning and prioritization skills.Self-starter who identifies and leads process or channel improvement efforts.Standout colleague with a positive demeanor who goes above and beyond to accomplish business objectives.Attention to detail.Experience in agile methodology within a marketing organization is a plus.Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
