Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Business System Steward is responsible to provide technical and operational leadership in the designing, testing and integration of enterprise project and resource management reporting and collaboration tools for the R&D organization. Responsibilities include timely execution of operational processes to enable accurate timecards, project planning and reporting to inform portfolio trade-offs. This role works in a matrix team with a focus on balancing the technical and end user consideration with the goal of providing fit for purpose robust solutions that scale and are user friendly. The role works with technical and business personnel across the organization along with outside vendors and consultants in the design and delivery of integrated enterprise solutions.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities - Serve as the business system administrator for the Planisware platform
- Lead the technical design, deliver of the enterprise project, and resource management solutions based on Planisware system
- Partner strongly with functional and technical leaders to resolve complex cross-system issues
- Ensures development and delivery of solutions that are compliant with the organizations needs in timely manner that are within scope, on schedule and within budget constraints
- Serve as the liaison between the Business analyst and Planisware developers
- The role will serve as the technical project manager, system tester and adoption support for the enhancement work requiring Level 2 configuration in coordination with the Jazz informatics and Planisware developers
- The role will assist in the identification, design and development of the automation and data exchange enhancements
- Provide thought leadership and technical considerations in the design and use of collaboration tools such as SharePoint
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Proven record of accomplishment of delivering robust integrated project and resource management solutions in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability to implement and make operational the Planisware platform
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead team discussions to collaborate toward robust and scalable technical solutions
- Expertise in the design and building of reliable cross system integrations
- Experience leading in a matrix environment and collaborating across multiple business units
- Experience working / communicating with members of senior leadership
- Cogent and persuasive writing and presentation skills
- System thinker when it comes to establishing processes and solutions
- Approaches change with an open mind and welcomes and leverages the thoughts views and opinions of others
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses - Bachelor of Engineering degree in information technology along with Planisware certification. At least 8 years of total experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in the designing, testing, and operational management of the Planisware platform

For this role, the full and complete base pay range is:$156,000.00 - $234,000.00Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package.
