Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Associate Director, Cell Therapy Lab Systems will be a self-driven, visionary leader, responsible for leading the LIMS team, validation services, and lifecycle management. S/he will be responsible for working with stakeholders to drive automation in our QC and Manufacturing sites. The incumbent will also be responsible for defining and reporting on key quality metrics and directing and overseeing the implementation of LIMS at our network QC sites. Responsibilities:Provide vision, strategy and direction for implementation of global laboratory systems.Manage and oversee budgets and most importantly deliver within budget.Direct a team of managers, developers, testers in regard to the maintenance of a LIMS application.Define and regularly report on applications roadmap.Provide a strategy for delivering quality systems project such as site deployments, enhancements and upgrades.Continuously work on ensuring the relationship with our business remains strong, engaging and transparent.Focus on continuous quality improvements and meeting business needs.Mentor and coach team members on best practices and ensuring knowledge sharing for the LIMS application.Focus on future needs of the business through creative thinking.Must be able to lead and manage other applications not related to LIMS.Work with vendors, stakeholders and Procurement for software, services and license renewals and purchases.Work with IT and non-IT stakeholders to drive efficiency in delivering LIMS related abilities.Requirements:BS/ MS degree preferred ideally in information technology, Science, engineering or with equivalent experience in a scientific or engineering discipline.Must have 10+ years of experience working in a GxP environment.Must have 10+ years of experience working with a LIMS application, preferably LabWare.Experience working in Cell Therapy is preferred.Demonstrated ability of high levels of interpersonal and communication skillsMust have strong experience at deploying LIMS across a global network.Must have a very good understanding of QC LabsMust have demonstrated ability of overseeing a LIMS technical team in fast paced environment.
