The Associate Director of Corporate and Community Relations plans and implements a comprehensive program designed to attract, retain, and increase charitable support from corporate, foundation, and institutional donors primarily at the $10,000 level and above. Reports to MGO of Philanthropy, Fairfield Region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with foundations and corporations, soliciting them for gifts and grants of $10,000 and above.
Identify and establish relationships with new prospects for the purpose of increasing hospital prominence and philanthropy.
Solicit event sponsorships from regional corporations and vendors. Cultivate relationships with Institutional leads and staff to identify new corporate partnerships.
Manage social media for the Philanthropy Department
Grow the revenue for the Virtual Challenge for the Swim Across the Sound incorporating, colleagues, corporations and local universities.
Maintain and develop Corporate Advisory Committee. Develop and create engagement opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Bachelors degree in related field such as liberal arts, communications, or business administration preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum of five years professional fundraising/development or related experience required.
