Duties

* Serves as Deputy of Administrative Services Division (ASD), providing guidance and support to the ASD team and performing critical back-up and risk mitigation functions.

* Provides strategic and operational expertise on matters relating to MCC's records and information management and facilities/office services.

* Ensures compliance with all federal regulations to provide adequate oversight of the agency's federal records and information, sustainability, construction management, and occupant safety and health.

* Provides leadership and technical direction in the formulation, implementation, and completion of agency-wide program operations in the ASD.

* Serves as a consultant to agency leadership on the design, development, and administration of programs that support core agency functions and ensures that systems are aligned with federal requirements and with MCC's current and future infrastructure.

* Coordinates with ASD and Contract and Grant Management staff on acquisition planning, strategy, and execution. Responsible for contract oversight and management, functioning as a contracting officer's representative or project manager on multiple contracts (as applicable).

* Designs, manages, and improves an ASD-wide operations metrics program. Based on industry best practices, develops processes and reporting tools to measure key performance indicators across the division, e.g. customer satisfaction, application performance, service uptime, etc.

* Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for a variety of administrative, operational, facilities, and management support services and programs.

* Supports the planning and oversight of a wide range of administrative, operational, facilities, and management support services and programs for the Corporation.

* Performs administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Ensures a continuing affirmative application of MCC policies concerning equal opportunity.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

ITo qualify for Pay Band 3B applicants must meet the following:

Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4A (GS-13) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as; experience providing administrative, operational, facilities, and management support services; experience in two or more of the following areas (federal records management; essential records management; knowledge management; information lifecycle; policy management; developing policies and procedures for administrative, operational, facilities, and management support services and programs; communicating, orally and in writing to develop reports and to present and explain findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences. Note: This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application.

To qualify for Pay Band 3A applicants must meet the following:

Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 3B (GS-14) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as; experience leading and managing administrative, operational, facilities, and management support services; experience in two or more of the following areas (federal records management; essential records management; knowledge management; information lifecycle; policy management; developing policies and procedures for administrative, operational, facilities, and management support services and programs; communicating, orally and in writing to develop reports and to present and explain findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences. Time-in-Grade: Time-in-grade requirements apply. You must have one year of Federal service equivalent to Pay Band 4A or GS-13 to be eligible for Pay Band 3B. You must have one year of Federal service equivalent to Pay Band 3B or GS-14 to be eligible for Pay Band 3A.
