Our Network office is located at 401 W 218th St., New York, NY 10034. Our Network team follows a hybrid work schedule: we work in-person from our office on Tuesdays and Thursdays with optional remote days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, if your team's scope of work permits. Deliver powerful results To achieve our vision, we are searching for Associate Director or Director of People Operations with at least 4-6+ years of experience in operational, HR, strategy, or consulting roles. Charter school experience is highly preferred. This role reports to the Director of Operational Strategy, Network. Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic visioning and team management for all aspects of people operations, including payroll, onboarding, offboarding, benefits & leave administration, unemployment management, team performance management, teacher certification, annual staff rehire strategy, and people-related crisis management
  • Manage a strong team of people operations associates / managers and ensure their growth and development, ensuring a high level of excellence across the team
  • Collaborate and partner with various teams across the network, including schooling and operations, to ensure that all people operations policies and procedures and properly implemented at our schools; equip School Leaders with the tools and resources to be successful people managers
  • Identify areas of improvements across the organization and using data, experience, and best practices to craft creative solutions and consistently deliver on our promise of wow for our teammates
  • Develop scalable systems and solution for Zeta's people operations as we grow to more than 1,000 staff members across all schools and network in the next 10 years
  • Codify people operations processes, manage resources, and develop and deliver trainings to Zeta staff
  • Wear multiple hats as a part of a lean start-up team, supporting the work of others on the team and taking on new projects and tasks as needed

We are hiring for an immediate opening The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $125,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience and internal equity.
