Job Description:Dow Jones is looking for an Associate Director, Due Diligence Quality to join our Due Diligence team responsible for the creation of high-quality reports on companies and/or individuals using a combination of publicly-available sources and proprietary databases. As Associate Director, Due Diligence Quality, you will be responsible for managing a global team of Due Diligence Quality Managers and their respective teams of Content Quality Analysts. You will work closely with your team to establish a consistent global quality assurance methodology and workflow ensuring that our reports are delivered on-time with the highest quality possible.You will develop a standardized quality assurance program to track performance KPIs of all researchers, including service providers, and vendors. You are also required to provide training/mentoring and leadership to yourdirect reports as well as to other Data Strategy research teams when necessary, and ensure that targets and deadlines are met. You will report to the Director, Risk & Compliance Services.You Will
- Continue to evolve and improve the quality assurance workflow to review and score the performance of the global research team, including providing feedback to internal partners, service providers, and key vendors.
- Develop and maintain a quality assurance program to assess content quality analyst performance ensuring best practices are followed across the global Quality team.
- Create new quality assurance procedures to support new report types and/or clients in collaboration with the research team and internal stakeholders.
- Have an automation mindset by initiating and driving change to existing quality team workflows and methodologies to create efficiencies and quality improvements with shared benefits across the global team.
- Track and report key performance indicators measuring the effectiveness of the global research and quality teams.
- Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders including Sales, Product, and Content Strategy to drive the innovation and strategy of the Due Diligence business and be a key representative of the Due Diligence team in interactions with clients.
- Coordinate with Product, Sales, and the research team to quickly remediate any quality concerns raised by clients.
- Provide direct supervision of global quality teams, including coaching and mentoring, to ensure team engagement and operational success.
- Collaborate with service providers and key vendors to improve overall workflow and quality of the team's deliverables.
- Lead, in a collaborative environment, a highly dedicated team to achieve Dow Jones's output/quality/timeliness targets.
- Ensure that the team is fully trained and delivers high level quality reports by developing an ongoing training program to strengthen and improve the subject matter expertise across the quality team.
- Assist the Director, R&C Services in global recruitment to build capacity and expertise
You Have
- 3+ years of people management experience required
- Relevant experience in Third-Party Due Diligence is required
- Strong problem solving ability coupled with the ability to make decisions autonomously
