This role is based in Peoria, IL. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Managing Director, Entrepreneurial Services Program and Services.Who We Are:The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) is a 501(c)(3) nationally recognized leader in the field of women's business development and economic empowerment for over 30 years. Our mission is to support and accelerate business development and growth by targeting women and serving all diverse business owners, to strengthen their participation in, and impact on, the economy. We value our knowledgeable, prepared, and diverse staff and foster a culture that is results-oriented, supportive, and progressive.The Role:The Associate Director, Entrepreneurial Services Program and Services supports the delivery of programming that provides business development services and resources to nascent and emerging entrepreneurs, including those that are economically disadvantaged and underserved.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the planning, organization, and facilitation of WBDC's Entrepreneurial programming and servicesSupport client advising, including assessing and supporting client needs.Assist in managing and coordinating resources, community partnerships, and various subject-matter experts for execution of programming and services.Work with marketing team to manage promotion of, and outreach for, workshops, events, and training sessions.Represent the WBDC at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.Align with the WBDC's overall strategic goals.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications and Experience :Analytical skills and financial acumenStrong communication and organizational skillsHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite2+ years of work experienceBachelor's degreePassionate about women's issues and economic empowermentWBDC Benefits and Perks:The WBDC offers a competitive benefits with a mission-focused organization.
