Job Title: Facets Advisory Consultant Job ID: 000#######1 Level: Associate Director Role Overview: The incumbent will serve as the Consulting Team Lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for core applications and sub-modules. The SME will provide clients with expert advisory knowledge regarding configuration structures and demonstrate leadership in the implementation or optimization of configuration solutions aimed at enhancing the auto-adjudication rate and/or facilitating the introduction of new lines of business. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Advisory: Lead consulting teams and act as the SME for core applications and sub-modules. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans detailing tasks to advance the current Facets configuration architecture to an optimized future state. Best Practices: Apply best practice configuration methods, assess underutilized sub-modules, and provide measurable metrics regarding configuration strategies. Requirements & Design: Conduct requirements discovery sessions and lead design sessions to determine the optimal design and configuration of applications within Facets. Solution Architecture: Consult with customers to design and recommend suitable solution architectures, manage mid- to large-sized projects, and guide product specialists. Technical & Functional Analysis: Understand the technical and functional ecosystem, analyze customer requirements, and address challenges from both IT and business process perspectives. Recommendations & Implementation: Provide informed recommendations related to product implementation, platform identification, architectural suitability, gap analysis, customization/bolt-on development and integration, and product maintenance. Proof of Concept: Lead the Proof of Concept for business capability rationalization. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 15 years of healthcare experience, with at least 10 years specifically related to Facets implementation in a leadership capacity. Core Functionalities: Substantial experience with Benefits, Providers, Enrollment, and Claims. Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to interpret application configurations. Facets Data Models: Strong understanding of Facets data models. Communication: Clear articulation of issues, both verbally and in writing, and the presentation of alternative solutions. Health Plan Maintenance System: Experience with the product Health Plan Maintenance System is beneficial. Consulting Skills: Exceptional general consulting capabilities and expertise in Facets application skills, enabling effective collaboration with the client's technical team. Preferred Experience: Claims Analysis: Experience with claims root cause analysis, benefits cost shares, Utilization Management, Coordination of Benefits, and provider and member matching issues. Soft Skills: Liaison: Ability to liaise effectively with both business and technical groups. Knowledge Transfer: Transfer Facets application knowledge to customer staff members. Salary and Other Compensation: Applicants will be accepted till December 18th, 2024 The annual salary for this position is between $140K-$166K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
