You will lead a team of market development managers and specialists who are responsible for aligning the LSG product portfolio with the key strategic growth pillars of the life science industry. You will collaborate closely with other functions such as product marketing, outbound marketing, marketing applications, R&D, sales and support to provide insights on customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape across different segments and regions. You will also design and execute external programs and partnerships that generate data and evidence to demonstrate the value and differentiation of the Bio-Rad products and solutions in various applications. By doing so, you will contribute to the impact of Bio-Rad products on human health and the growth of the LSG business globally. - Leads a team of subject matter experts who have deep knowledge and experience in different life science domains, such as ddPCR, qPCR, cell biology, single-cell applications, antibodies, instrumentation, protein purification and process chromatography.
- Oversees the development and execution of strategic market development plans that align with the business objectives and customer needs and leverage the competitive advantages of the product portfolio.
- Monitors and analyzes the market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and gaps and provide insights and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence within the market development team, and provides coaching, mentoring and guidance to the team members to help them achieve their goals and grow their careers.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, academic institutions and other external influencers to enhance brand awareness and reputation of the company and products.
- Participate in and oversee elements of engagement on topics such as voice of the customer and the market, and participates in various internal and external events, such as webinars, conferences, trade shows, workshops and publications, to showcase the value proposition and differentiation of the products and solutions.
- Initiate and drive collaborative arrangements with scientific entities to generate data evidence.
- Lead scientific exchanges with external key opinion thought leaders to shape, sculpt, and inform decisions within the organization around product pipeline and initiatives.
- Design and create educational tools, internal training and support, communications, etc.
- Lead the design, organization, and implementation of advisory boards to inform internal stakeholders.
- Work with professional societies and consortia.
- Works closely with product management, sales, technical support, regional marketing and other cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch, promotion and adoption of new and existing products and solutions.
- Key leader that will interface with all levels of the organization and will be an invaluable asset to product marketing, R&D, applications, market development, sales, regional and global marketing, and support. What You Bring:
- Education/Work Experience: PhD required; significant commercial experience in lieu of 10+ years' experience, ideally within in a commercial setting.
- Scientific training and a blend of commercial activities spanning genomic and proteomic applications experience.
- Experience and deep knowledge of human health, genetics, and oncology.
- Experience with evidence generating activities related to human health outcomes to influence and guide business decisions.
- Experience with molecular testing modalities, biomarker discovery, and next generation sequencing.
- Experience with analytical detection technology (qPCR, ddPCR), single-cell applications, cytometry, and antibodies related to research and testing environments is highly desired.
- Experience with protein purification and separation modalities and market.
- Exhibit superior leadership strengths - people motivator, multiplier, communication, strategic thinking, and focus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical knowledge to broad audiences, both written and oral.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $169,800 to $233,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
