Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world.This role will be located at any of our U.S. offices (Eastern Time Zone preferred) on a Hybrid basis, including Portsmouth, NH, Morristown, NJ, Walkersville, MD, etc. and will travel to other Lonza locations at least monthly.The role will provide help to sites while ensuring processes are standardized and implemented across all sites, Divisions, and BUs.The Associate Director will drive the sustainability of the processes in SAP within the organization, train users and SMEs, and ensure the appropriate level of documentation (Policies, SOPs, Work Instructions) are in place and embedded into the LONZA Quality System.This role will focus on and support the SAP E2E Execution Blueprint Certification Program by working with the sites, supporting and helping them mitigate gaps, all to get certified and eventually meet MRP II Class A.This role requires extensive SAP knowledge in all facets of SAP, the ability to speak, act, share, learn, and teach SAP, and assistance via remote as well as on-site.The ideal candidate is an SAP expert in execution; i.e., plan to make (end to end) processes involving master data, process orders, MRP, purchase orders, and warehouse/material movements, quality.Key Responsibilities:
- Assess Supply Chain Processes across Sites and Divisions/ BUs
- Define gap analysis through assessments and discussions, develop action plans, and help implement them.
- Support the SAP E2E Execution Blueprint Certification Program to get sites certified
- Address Audit Findings/ Observations
- Fix Site Issues - Liaise with IT
- Standardize and Harmonize Processes
- Write SOPs/ WI - Roll-Out and Train
- Seek guidance from Director of Global Supply Chain Solutions and SAP Execution for liaising and mobilization to a siteKey Requirements:
- Degree in Life science with strong supply chain background experience in a site environment
- At least 10+ years of work experience in multiple Supply Chain site functions with a strong focus on planning, execution, and logistics processes
- SME in SAP
- Masters APICS CPIM professional standards. Subject matter expert for planning and execution
- Ability to establish and track project delivery. Proven experience with handling multiple global and complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to identify and resolve conflicts
- Good communication and presentation skills, ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
- Proven ability to lead and influence and coach people at all hierarchy levels
- Ideally a manufacturing or technical experience demonstrating a self-starting and hands-on quality
