As an Associate Director, Medical Affairs Insights & Analytics you will provide valuable strategic insight and actionable recommendations to our therapeutic area teams supporting our development of medical impact plans. This position supports and advises collaborators on how best to develop research studies applying research reports while developing annual medical plans. We also determine how to measure progress against goals.
A typical day may include: Collaborating with cross-functional teams developing comprehensive insights plans supporting our medical affairs strategies and initiatives. Communicating and aligning with partners around market research and analytics objectives and outputs Leading primary market research design and execution to answer key medical insights questions within priority therapeutic areasSynthesizing and translating data and information into compelling insights and recommendations. Championing insight approaches and analytic methods, influencing decision-making Developing and presenting reports and actionable recommendations to focusing on key findings and relevant implications Initiating and facilitating activities enhancing partners knowledge regarding the relevant aspects of patient journey and experienceCollaborating on the development of dashboards for various levels of reporting Proactively keeping up to date with industry changes, methodologies, tools and techniques and shares with wider teamDeveloping an understanding of the therapeutic areas ensuring the right business questions are being askedEnsuring all planned market research is compliant and projects follow SOPs
This may be for you if you: Want to have an impact on patient lives. Have knowledge in relevant methodologies and mixed methodologies, related to medical affairs impact measurements. Can demonstrate excellent storytelling skills synthesizing insights sharing the Why and What building actionable activities. Have the proven ability to work independently in a dynamic fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision. Advanced skills in: organization, time management, project management, vendor management, cross-functional communication and collaboration, analytical and conceptual thinking, presentation skills, and personal initiative.
To be considered a Bachelors degree is required with 10+ years of proven experience in market research and performance measurement roles within the pharmaceutical industry. An advanced degree preferred.Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), with data storytelling, slide creation, distilling complex data into a cohesive story flow.Keen analytical mind with outstanding problem solving and technical skills, reflecting in-depth knowledge of various secondary databases and their limitations.Strong understanding of analytics, primary and secondary market research methods Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
