Clutch is looking for an experienced Associate Director of Ad Ops for an agency client of ours.
Overview:
The Associate Director of Ad Operations will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our digital advertising operations. This position requires a strong understanding of digital advertising technologies, platforms, and industry trends. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading a team to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership:
o Lead and mentor a team of ad operations specialists.
o Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
o Recruit, hire, and develop talent.
• Campaign Management:
o Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., display, video, mobile, social).
o Monitor campaign performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
o Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
• Platform Management:
o Manage relationships with ad tech vendors and platforms.
o Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
o Implement new technologies and platforms to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Financial Management:
o Manage budgets and forecast campaign spending.
o Analyze campaign performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Quality Assurance:
o Ensure the quality and accuracy of ad tags, tracking pixels, and other campaign elements.
o Conduct regular quality assurance checks to prevent errors and discrepancies.
• Reporting and Analytics:
o Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards.
o Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends and insights.
o Share insights with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in digital advertising operations at an agency.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising technologies (DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, etc.).
• Proficiency in ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick Campaign Manager).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
