You will be part of McKinsey's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) function and will be based in North America. The E&C function's mission is to manage risks to the firm, our clients, and our people, while also enabling the firm's client impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of the firm. This opportunity works in the Ethics pillar, which is responsible for instilling trust by amplifying integrity and effectively managing concerns. This role reports to the Director of Ethics.
Your impact within our firmIn this role, you will design and deliver comprehensive and accurate compliance reporting for various audiences, including adherence to internal policies, procedures, and practices, progress against internal and external commitments, and reporting to governance committees. You will be responsible for ensuring reporting processes and practices align with federal regulations and expectations (e.g., cadence, quality, and detail). Additionally, you will design and syndicate options for reporting on program progress and capabilities, e.g., use of charts, synthesis sections.
You will work across cross-functional teams to collect (and where needed, validate) data and information for reporting purposes, e.g., recent progress and capabilities built. You will also draft and iterate reports for syndication to a variety of audiences, both internal and external. You will provide strategic recommendations on changes to existing reporting processes and tooling used to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
You will provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on compliance reporting to support proactive compliance management. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role. You will collaborate with a cross-functional and senior stakeholder group (e.g., Legal, Risk) across the firm in a timely and efficient manner.
Additionally, you will lead a high-impact team to deliver against the above priorities, supporting their growth and development needs through processes such as review, recruitment, and coaching. Finally, you will play a critical role in sustaining and evolving our E&C program and upholding our commitment to integrity and lawful practices.
