The Fanconi Cancer Foundation (FCF) is seeking a detail-oriented and visionary Associate Director of Grants and Scientific Affairs, to lead and manage the operational aspects of FCF's grant programs and scientific initiatives. This pivotal role combines program management expertise with scientific leadership to ensure that FCF's research efforts advance its mission of improving treatments and finding a cure for Fanconi anemia (FA). The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), and key stakeholders to drive innovative research, foster collaborations, and oversee impactful grant making initiatives.

About the Fanconi Cancer Foundation

The Fanconi Cancer Foundation is a distinguished nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing research and providing comprehensive support for individuals and families affected by Fanconi anemia (FA), a rare genetic disorder that significantly increases cancer susceptibility. Since our founding in 1989, we have invested over $33million in cutting-edge research to drive scientific breakthroughs and improve patient outcomes. Through strategic collaborations with leading organizations such as Stand Up to Cancer and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), we bridge the gap between innovative science and meaningful impact to advance the field of FA research and care. Our funding has played a pivotal role in extending the life expectancy of individuals with FA from childhood into young adulthood. We support basic, translational, and clinical research on FA that has led to advancements in gene therapy, cancer diagnosis and prevention, and treatment, which has transformed the landscape of FA care. Additionally, we provide vital resources to empower individuals and families through advocacy, education, and psychosocial support. Our in-person and virtual events serve as essential platforms for fostering connection, delivering critical education, and supporting mental well-being, ensuring that individuals and families affected by FA are empowered with the resources they need to navigate their journey. These achievements exemplify our steadfast dedication to transforming lives and shaping a future where those impacted by FA can lead longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

The Fanconi Cancer Foundation values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity for all persons regardless of age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other status protected by law.
