Job Description:The Associate Director of Human Resources is essential in advancing the institution's strategic objectives by managing and enhancing HR functions. This role involves overseeing HR operations, developing policies, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations pertinent to the higher education sector. Key responsibilities include managing Unemployment and Workers' Compensation, amending and creating job descriptions, and handling recruitment and staffing. The Associate Director will also ensure compliance with Title IX and Title VI, as well as federal, state, and local employment laws, while developing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures following best practices in higher education. Collaboration with academic and administrative departments will be crucial to foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement and development.
