Job Description:
The Associate Director of Operations for the Long Island Educational Opportunity Center is responsible for ensuring that all buildings and satellite sites are fully operational in compliance with LIEOC, FSC, NYS policies, procedures, and mandates. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement as related to sites and satellite facilities, including vendor estimates that meet FSC guidelines and requirements. The Associate Director of Operations will also oversee the maintenance and clerical personnel assigned at EOC sites and satellite locations.
Responsibilities include:
* Working with building management, owners, and campus officials to ensure that facilities are functioning in a safe and effective manner and meet all local, state, and federal codes.
* Overseeing maintenance of all buildings.
* Overseeing procurement, purchasing, and inventory for all buildings and satellite locations.
* Act at the liaison between the LIEOC and FSC Maintenance, Physical Plant, and Procurement Departments.
* Coordinate the organization's overall security with LIEOC, FSC, and UCAWD IT Departments.
* Oversee budget administration of Perkins Grant funding and actively seek out other appropriate grant funding opportunities.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in related field; OR Associate's Degree plus at least five years relevant experience.
* At least three years experience in facilities, operations, management, or a related field.
* Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and scheduling.
* Knowledge of purchasing and procurement policies and procedures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's Degree in a related field.
* Experience with grant writing and implementation.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time UUP position.
* For the first 10 working days, beginning Friday, December 13, 2024, and ending Friday, December 27, 2024, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale.

* SALARY: $75,000 + $3,400 in downstate location pay = $78,400 Total Compensation.
