Job Description:
As an Associate Director of Product Management for the Lively devices' portfolio, you will drive the creation and management of a range of innovative hardware devices, including (but not limited to) phones (Handsets – smart and flip) and medical alerts (responder). This role focuses on driving innovation in physical devices, ensuring seamless integration with our digital ecosystem, and delivering exceptional user experiences. You will lead a team of product managers and work closely with design, engineering, quality testing, risk quality management, and manufacturing teams to bring these devices from concept to market, ensuring they meet our customers' needs and align with our strategic objectives This role is remote, which means you would work virtually from home or another US-based non-Best Buy Health location. What you'll doDefine and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning with Best Buy Health business objectives Lead the development of products that prioritize user experience and deliver tangible customer valueOversee the development, refinement and execution of product roadmaps, ensuring they are aligned with delivering key experiences and business objectives.Establish and monitor key product performance metrics, using insights to drive product iterations and improvements.Coach, mentor and manage a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product success.Advocate for the customer at every stage, leveraging user research, insights and data to inform product decisions. Basic qualificationsMinimum 6 years of relevant Product Management experience (Offering Management, Business Management, Strategy, Development, Design, etc) required Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in strategy creation, health related solutioning, cross-functional leadership required Preferred qualificationsMinimum 6 years of experience managing the lifecycles of physical devices from concept through production preferredMinimum 6 years experience with telecommunications (CMDA, LTE, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth etc) to support both the physical development of devices, but also the deployment on network (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) for direct operation, roaming, and balanced device power and customer experience preferredPrior experience with testing cycles for both certifications and user experience preferredPrior Telecom risk, quality and compliance experience inclusive of FDA traceability preferredPrior hardware integration experience to include knowledge of how hardware integrates with digital platforms, major Telecom IC vendors and understanding of major operating systems to support device development preferredPrior experience leading product teams preferredPrior experience developing, communicating and implementing strategies that align to business goals and customer needs preferredPrior experience with agile methodologies, processes and technologies (e.g Jira, Azure, etc.) preferred What's in it for you We're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
