More information can be found at www.coopersurgical.com.ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:Professional education is a cornerstone for CooperSurgical, and we are highly regarded in the market for the training we offer. Our training covers all stages of the IVF process and is designed to help educate customers about how to optimize processes using our fertility and genomics products in the clinic. This position will be collaborating with the Director of Professional Education & Clinical Support in establishing relevant training program meeting the needs of the market.The manager of PECS will be an active part of the team providing hands-on education with demonstration of techniques and procedures, such as ICSI, biopsy and vitrification in connection with evidence based theoretical lecturing. Hands-on education also includes simulator training of clinical staff and virtual training sessions.Identifying the training and educational needs of clinical staff in the ART market and managing relationships with subject matter experts and KOLs who will participate as faculty in these training programs is key to the success of this position. In addition, the manager of PECS can be visiting clinics to offer guidance, education and best practice sharing. The manager of PECS will become a member of CooperSurgical embryologist club with regular meetings to share knowledge, best practice and be involved at the educational session at our Academy. Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Share educational activities with Director of Professional Education and Clinical support.
- Support customers with best practice sharing and offer guidance on optimal use of our products virtually and on site
- Support other internal departments with ART expertise when necessary
- Share the continued education and scientific support of the North America Clinical Application Scientists
- Participate in US commercial events and congresses
- Support the KOL process and collaboration including Fair Market Value analysis and executes contracts for HCP consultants for training and event related activities
- Support embryology related customer complaints, working with Product Surveillance to further investigations of same.
Travel:
- Able to travel 25% + (60+ days) nationally and internationally.
QualificationsQualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Fully trained in all aspects of the embryology and andrology laboratories required
- Must be respected as a knowledgeable leader and be professional and persuasive in front of an audience both face to face and online
- Must be able to have a deep grasp of clinical studies and be able to articulate the findings to clinical staff
- Must be able to give clinical support onsite or online to customers
- Must be self-motivated, work independently and manage their own calendar in collaboration with other teams' members
- Passionate about education and continual learning and improving in skill set
- Passing of background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work effectively from a remote setting and to sit for extended periods of time using computer equipment.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Potential exposure to caustic laboratory chemicals
Experience:
- Must have 10+ years of experience, fully trained in all aspects of embryology and andrology
- Must have experience working in an IVF clinic, both in embryology and andrology
