The primary responsibility is to coordinate programming efforts and ensure high-quality, relevant, and impactful extension educational programs, products, and services. This is accomplished through senior-level leadership and daily oversight in developing and implementing a customer-centric, innovative business strategy that meets the mission of a land-grant university.This position provides leadership, supervision, and support to Assistant Directors of Programs (ADPs) and Program Teams in planning, prioritizing, budgeting, developing, delivering, evaluating, and sustaining programs, products, services, and activities. Approximately 50% of the time will be spent supervising ADPs, 30% developing programming strategies, and 20% focused on internal and external organizational communications.Skills and Competencies:The successful candidate is expected to understand program life cycle management as it relates to Extension programming and must possess outstanding skills in program and educational product development and workflow processes. The ability to engage professionally with a diverse population and promote collaboration across the university is required.Qualifications:Master's of Science required, Ph.D. preferred in a relevant field, and a strong knowledge of program development and implementation.Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
