- The Associate Director of Programs is responsible for providing supervision and support to all service delivery programs across Church at the Park in partnership with and under the direction of the Director of Programs. This position will be responsible for ensuring services are offered in accordance with C@P values and that whenever possible, participants of C@P programs are supported to take their next step toward health and housing stability. The Associate Director is responsible for ensuring a collaborative work environment across teams and helping to facilitate program development, compliance with relevant funding sources, and implementation of best practices.
Qualifications:
- Four year degree in relevant field required. An equivalent of a high school diploma or GED + 5 years of experience can be substituted.
- High proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Zoom, etc.
- 2+ years of supervision experience required.
- 2+ years of case management or social services experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Marion and Polk county service delivery system and community partners preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience in using trauma-informed care principles required.
- Demonstrated experience in mediation between persons exhibiting escalated behavior required.
- Must have valid Oregon Drivers license; must have been a licensed driver for at least 2 years; must have a driving record that permits coverage under C@P's company insurance.
Essential Job Duties Include (But Not Limited To):
Management Support and Coaching:- Provide responsive supervision to the Shelter, Outreach, PSH, Safe Parking, and Health Services including but not limited to: providing one-on-one coaching, providing direction and accountability, following up on tasks, and providing training.
- Provide coaching and support to program managers in their supervision of staff and guests.
- Mentor staff, interns, and volunteers when necessary.
- Ensure the cohesion of service delivery across the organization and facilitate a collaborative work environment.
Program development and oversight:- Work collaboratively with the Program Services Team to develop the Outreach, Safe Parking, Shelter, Health and PSH Services.
- Ensure staff are trained and equipped to carry out the functions of their positions.
- Collaborate with the Director of Programs to ensure timely data collection and program outcomes are meeting funder requirements.
Organizational Leadership: - Work alongside partner organizations to ensure collaborative service delivery.
- Represent C@P in relevant community meetings.
- Use of trauma-informed care principles whenever possible when performing tasks.
- Assist other staff and volunteers in providing a calm and safe environment at all of our sites.
- Provide support and care for the culture of Church at the Park through training, offering centering opportunities, and culture development opportunities.
Policies and Procedure Development:- Support in the development of policies and procedures for each program.
- Attend required training, team meetings, and learn policies and procedures for C@P Operations.
- Research and implement program best practices.
- Respond to guest questions and/or grievances about staff in accordance with the C@P grievance procedure.
$90,000 - $90,000 a year
Work environment: Close quarters with vulnerable people including individuals without stable living situations who may be struggling with mental health and substance use concerns. Indoor/Outdoor work environment with frequent interruptions and demands, and occasional unpredictable behavior. Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 15 pounds or less. Driving between Church at the Park operated and managed sites.
