Job Descriptions As the Associate Director of International Tax Services, you will lead the delivery of comprehensive international tax services, advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations. You will coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop optimal worldwide tax strategies. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of international tax compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
  • Research and advise on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, effective use of tax treaties, offshore investment activities, and repatriation programs.
  • Minimize U.S. and foreign income taxes for U.S.-based multinational clients, optimizing worldwide tax burdens on business transactions and operations.
  • Facilitate clients' understanding of international tax developments and implications.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services within the assigned client group.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and business development.
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and effectively lead change efforts.
  • Consult and work with clients to recommend business and process improvements, serving as a trusted business advisor.
  • Participate in regular professional development and training sessions to stay informed about tax changes and issues affecting clients.
Qualifications:
  • At least six years of progressive tax consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA certification.
  • Masters in taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD is a plus.
  • Experience with a large public accounting firm or large law firm.
  • Knowledge of inbound and outbound taxation.
  • Proficiency in international estate and gift tax planning.
  • Experience with foreign trust issues, including foreign grantor and non-grantor trusts.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills, with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance and consulting.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound transaction consulting, multinational corporation experience, transfer pricing, and foreign tax credit utilization is a plus.
  • Strong experience in training and developing staff.
