**Title: Associate Director of Warehouse Training, Quality &Compliance**

**Department: Supply Chain**

**Reports To: Vice President of Logistics**

**Location: Bronx Warehouse Distribution Center- Non Remote**

The **Associate Director of Warehouse Training and Compliance** is responsible establishing a lean culture and related processes for the training, quality and compliance of all logistics and warehouse management functions to OSHA, AIB, DOT, and Feeding America standards. This newly created role is responsible to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective food distribution and all products and will serve on the operations leadership team. They will be the key point of contact for training development and deployment for all Logistics, Transportation and Warehousing team members.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Develop and maintain training, onboarding, and certification programs in partnership with HR for all warehouse, logistics, and transportation personnel, keeping accurate records using a training tracker

* Develop training curricula and utilize a best practice curriculum leveraging best practices from Feeding America, other Food Banks, and corporate partners

* Oversee and manage the Quality Control and inventory function and personnel ensuring full inspection and reporting, including selection metrics for frozen, refrigerated and ambient food products

* Maintain facility and assets in compliance with AIB, OSHA, DOT requirements.

* Maintain Feeding Americas standards as listed in the Members Manual.

* Identify and provide food safety education to staff and volunteers.

* Oversee the pest control compliance of facility with warehouse management

* Conduct building audits to support maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in accordance with AIB standards.

* Participate in monthly Operational Team meetings to discuss and promote safe food handling.

* Represent the Food Bank during health Inspections.

* Be the lead in representing the Food Bank during yearly compliance audits with Feeding America.

* Schedule and manage certification training sessions.

* Communicate with key stakeholders regarding volunteer events and training and training compliance.

* Coordinate and/or facilitate Kaizen events, utilizing process improvement tools and methodologies for pre-event, event, and post-event planning.

* Analyze data from major value streams to identify opportunities for improvement.

* Perform other duties as requested by the CSCO/VP Logistics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent.

* Bi-lingual in Spanish is strongly desired

* Experienced in managing a food safety program.

* Able to train and lead staff in safe food handling operations.

* Familiarity with state and local health requirements for handling food product.

* Good communication and writing skills; ability to lead, teach and listen.

* Experienced with health department inspections.

* Proficiency in MS Office based tools, including Teams and SharePoint

* Self-starter, and creative thinker with strong leadership, discipline, and accountability

* Excellent organizational skills.

* Possess a team-player attitude with a good sense of humor.
