Search Associate Directors oversee books of business either at client-wide scale or multi-brand teams, partnering with the broader leadership team to establish client strategic vision. The goal for this role is to understand the needs of the client and their teams and foster an environment to accomplish both.Main Responsibilities
- Main point of escalation across assigned brands, to address client needs, questions, or challenges with approach-based solutions.
- Build trusting relationships with client counterparts, viewed as strategic Search expert.
- Evolve client understanding by educating on Search behavior, the channel's role in the marketing mix, and how it contributes to the brand goals.
- Show accountability for team's work, establishing areas of focus, identifying tactical knowledge gaps and creating resources to guide efficiency of workflow and enhance deliverable quality.
- Create a culture of transparency, comradery and accomplishment within their team.
- Ensure performance is easily reviewed, driving adoption of performance-driven optimization best practices at scale and identifying pilot opportunities to innovate.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration by working with team members to create synergistic plans and reports.
- Partner with client regulatory leads on overarching channel guidance, evolution of submission template and new tactic concept review.
- Contribute to business scoping, deliverable tracking, resource management and other financial and operational business aspects.
- Lead annual reviews, hold career-centric 1:1s and Catch-Ups with Supervisors, supporting dialogue with Associates and Sr. Associates.
- Lead cross-agency collaboration and establishes workflow processes with partner agencies and vendors on behalf of clients.
- Amplify impact through proactive case study and best practice documentation, contribute to practice-wide goals.QualificationsKnowledge
- Expert understanding of Search landscape, buying platforms and new/evolving product offerings, with expertise in campaign implementation, management, analysis and optimization.
- Experience with client category landscape factors.
- Broad knowledge of digital landscape and agency capabilities (planning, SEO, online and offline Media, technology, etc).
- Experience with connection between Search and the broader media mix.
- Expert ability to link brand goals search campaign organizing and execution.
- Leverage visual storytelling to simplify the complex and accelerate client understanding.Requirements

- Take and/or set initial direction, provide proposed solutions and status updates.
- Enterprise client management and account planning experience.
- Experience creating processes and efficiencies within a team or organization.

- Observe agency procedures (timesheets, required trainings, 360 feedback, etc).
- Experience managing a team of 5+.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with 8+ years of direct Search campaign management.
