Make a difference every day! Job DescriptionThe Team:The Distribution Intelligence team is responsible for increasing data driven decision making at Invesco. The group supports the Americas and EMEA's Sales and Marketing teams to help increase net sales through a better understanding of our clients. It works like a small startup within the organization, with a clear focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency through end-to-end management of data, analytics, visualization and in-field implementation. While the team is not new, there is a distinct focus on restructuring the talent through training and recruiting as well as redefining the vision and engagement model with the rest of the organization.Your Role:The Associate Director of Marketing Analytics QQQ is a strategic and assertive leader within Invesco's Marketing Analytics team, entrusted with guiding the Invesco QQQ ETF's data and analytics strategy.Reporting to the Director, Marketing Analytics EMEA & NA, within the Distribution Intelligence team, this role is critical in shaping and driving the analytics vision that not only supports but actively informs and influences strategic marketing initiatives. This leader will play a decisive role in interpreting data to determine the best actions and strategies for Invesco QQQ marketing, ensuring that data-driven insights lead to effective decision-making and optimized campaign performance.Key Responsibilities / Duties:Campaign Strategy Expertise: Thoroughly understand campaign brief process and channel strategies to enhance the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Ensure that all analytics initiatives are closely aligned with Invesco QQQ's strategic marketing goals and channel optimization.Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics techniques to extract actionable insights that clearly indicate the best courses of action for QQQ marketing. Champion the use of empirical evidence to shape marketing strategies, ensuring that each decision maximizes business outcomes.Advanced Analytics Development: Lead the identification and evaluation of advanced analytics opportunities by leveraging deep expertise in analytics techniques and use cases. This role requires a strategic understanding of how machine learning, predictive modeling, and other advanced methods can drive business decisions and outcomes. Collaborate closely with the advanced analytics team to develop and deploy sophisticated analytics solutions that provide actionable forecasts and trends, which will guide Invesco QQQ's strategic planning and marketing initiatives. This approach ensures that the analytics efforts are not just supportive but are central to shaping Invesco QQQ's strategic direction.Agency and Stakeholder Management: Direct and manage agency relationships and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that QQQ's marketing strategies are well-informed and effectively implemented. Oversee contractual agreements, project scopes, and deliverables to guarantee alignment with Invesco QQQ's standards and objectives.Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a team of Data Analytics specialists, empowering them to overcome analytical challenges and excel in their roles. Provide ongoing education and feedback to foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. Required Experience and Knowledge:Undergraduate or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline considered an asset (i.e. Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Business Communications)7+ years in leadership roles within digital marketing analytics, demonstrating a capacity to drive major strategic decisions and initiatives, preferably in a B to C or customer centric B to B environment.Strong grasp of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and online advertising, and adeptness in managing cross-channel marketing campaigns.Technical Proficiency: Expertise in using SQL, AWS, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI.High proficiency with web analytics tools – GA360 & AAAssertive Communication: Outstanding ability to articulate and defend analytical insights and recommendations with confidence and clarity. Skilled in influencing stakeholders and driving the adoption of data-driven strategies.Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills combined with the ability to think strategically about complex issues, breaking them down into manageable parts.The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location.
