This position focuses on ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting fiscal oversight of grants-funded projects. The Associate Director will serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders and funding agencies, providing essential assistance in managing award and post-award activities. This role plays a key part in facilitating effective grant implementation and ensuring adherence to funding requirements and policies. The position will report to the Director of Sponsored Programs and supports the broader organizational goals through efficient process management and collaborative engagement with stakeholders.Special Instructions to ApplicantsEducation & ExperiencePosition Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeSix years of related work experienceDemonstrated success in proposal writing and management.Working knowledge of grants management lifecycle and portal management.Office 365 proficient with a heavy emphasis on Excel skills.Budgeting with a familiarity concerning federal partner/OMB standard form application requirements.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degreeExperience working in higher education a plus.Oklahoma State University (OSU) strives to provide a safe study, work, and living environment for its faculty, staff, volunteers and students.
