Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. Our Waterville, OH plant is looking for their next Associate Financial Analyst who is responsible for providing financial analysis and accounting support for a plant.This is a hybrid work schedule; this team does work 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.Your Day-to-Day:
  • Daily and weekly reporting on POV (production order variance) to provide the plant operations team with a pulse on performance
  • Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks- journal entries, account reconciliations, controls, and various reporting
  • Prepare analysis of results to better understand gaps to plan and forecast
  • Provide FA (financial analysis) support for both capital and technical projects
  • Complete the annual standard cost cycle for assigned assets
  • Partner with plant operations team in the completion of the AOP (annual operating plan)
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with some cost accounting experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical ability
  • Demonstrated skills in internal controls and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Minimal travel required (0-10 days per year)
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting; however, there are tasks that require us to be on the shop floor periodically.
