Job DescriptionPerforms the daily terminal cleaning and sanitation of the department.Shift Expectation - Per diem shifts - Must be flexible to work varied shifts and days including weekends and holidays.Job Responsibility* Performs all cleaning functions following established procedures in a timely fashion.* Maintains tools and equipment in good condition, uses supplies economically.* Uses proper cleaning supplies for each job, using appropriate personal protective equipment.* Collects garbage, cleans and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners.* Transports garbage to designated area and disposes of waste.* Adheres to state and county regulations for proper disposal of infectious and hazardous waste.* Maintains department's cleaning and sanitation quality control records.* Stores and maintains related tools, equipment, and chemicals in department.* Sweeps mops and maintains departmental floors including the cafeteria floor.* Receives detailed direction and guidance on work.* Work and tasks are most often routine, structured and transactional in nature, may require physical labor; work requires minimal variance from guidelines and procedures.* Elevates questions, problems and significant challenges to more senior team members for direction or subject matter expertise.* Performs related duties as required.
