The Associate General Counsel will play a critical role in providing assistance and guidance to our business and practice teams supporting a variety of corporate transactions and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality legal services.   • Provide subject matter support on a wide range of corporate matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on issues and provide clear and practical guidance to practice groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and human resources, to support business initiatives and strategic objectives.
  • Assist with operational efforts related to corporate transactions, including practice guides, procedural summaries, templates, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's business and proactively identify potential risks and opportunities.
What you will need to be successful
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of experience practicing corporate law at a law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on corporate transactions and general corporate matters.
